Wings, Legs and Tails

4 min

In a desert of sand and heat, an ostrich becomes fixated on doing what seems impossible for him: learning to fly. He watches the sky, studies the birds above him, and keeps trying to lift himself off the ground, even as his body and the landscape work against him. Each attempt turns the simple goal into a small struggle between wish and nature. As he presses on, the film follows his trial-and-error effort with the logic of a fable, turning the open desert into a place where determination, frustration, and imagination keep colliding.
