Donkey X
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamily90 min
Rucio, a talkative donkey from Castile, takes over the legend of Don Quixote and insists the famous knight wasn’t mad at all, but an intelligent, passionate dreamer whose story has been told the wrong way. As Rucio retells the tale from his own perspective, the film follows Quixote’s adventures with a running stream of jokes, missteps, and animal-side commentary. Voices from José Luis Gil and Andreu Buenafuente shape this animated version, which reframes Cervantes’ hero through a narrator who wants credit for what really happened.
