Desert mine caretaker Jess Tyler lives alone beside an abandoned silver works until a sexually provocative young woman arrives and says she’s his daughter. Stacy Keach is Jess, a solitary man thrown into an uneasy reunion, while Pia Zadora’s Kady brings seduction, family tension, and her own interest in the silver tied to the property. As their relationship grows increasingly charged, the story moves from estranged-family drama into a crime plot shaped by greed, secrecy, and the harsh isolation of the desert. Orson Welles appears in the film’s supporting cast.
