The Swinger

Comedy81 min

An author starts blurring fiction and daily life after writing a steamy sex novel and then stumbling into the same kinds of adventures she imagined for her heroine. Ann-Margret is at the center of the farce, moving from literary fantasy to romantic confusion, while Anthony Franciosa joins the swirl around her. George Sidney directs this glossy mid-1960s comedy with a knowingly risqué premise, built around Ann-Margret’s screen presence and the gap between what its heroine writes on the page and what begins spilling into her own life.
