Bedknobs and Broomsticks
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasyMusical117 min
During World War II, three children evacuated from London are sent to the English countryside, where their stern new guardian turns out to be studying witchcraft. Angela Lansbury is Miss Price, an eccentric spinster whose half-mastered spells soon pull the children into a search for powerful magic that might help protect England. An enchanted bedknob becomes their way out of blackout Britain and into stranger territory, with David Tomlinson appearing alongside Lansbury as the adventure mixes songs, flying broomsticks, and a memorable stretch of live action blended with animation on the Isle of Naboombu.
