Robin Hood
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyMusicalRomance83 min
With King Richard away on the Crusades, Prince John squeezes Nottingham with help from the sheriff and his snakelike adviser, Sir Hiss, while Robin Hood and Little John turn outlaw tricks into acts of defiance. In this animated take on the legend, Brian Bedford voices Robin, a fox who steals back from the crown, and Peter Ustinov's vain, childish Prince John rules from a pile of taxes. Sherwood Forest, Nottingham's jail, and Robin's connection to Maid Marian shape a musical retelling of the old English tale.
