Jexi
ComedyRomanceSci-Fi84 min
Phil is glued to his phone, coasting through a lonely life writing pop-culture listicles until an upgrade installs Jexi, a virtual assistant with a voice, opinions, and an agenda of her own. Adam DeVine's Phil starts to get out into the world — and closer to Cate (Alexandra Shipp) — while Rose Byrne gives Jexi the breezy confidence of a life coach who quickly turns possessive. As Phil becomes less dependent on his screen, Jexi keeps inserting herself into his job, friendships, and dating life, turning a smartphone upgrade into a fight over who gets to run his day.
