During the occupation of a high school in Rome, Silvio Muccino is Silvio, a teenager juggling sex, friendship, and the politics swirling around campus. He wants to make a move on the girl he likes, even though she’s dating his friend and her best friend has feelings for him. Around him, classmates including Giuseppe Sanfelice and Giulia Louise Steigerwalt get caught in the same tangle of crushes, posturing, and rebellion, while Silvio’s parents — former Sixties radicals — dismiss the students’ unfocused activism and turn the standoff at school into a clash at home too.
