After a drug lord is extradited to the U.S., his son retaliates by seizing an elite prep school and taking its students hostage. Sean Astin is Billy, a campus troublemaker who refuses to stay put, while Wil Wheaton's Joey joins a small group of classmates working inside the lockdown. Andrew Divoff brings a cold, organized menace to the cartel heir leading the assault, with the adults outside forced to weigh negotiations against a raid. Classrooms, dorms, and school rituals turn into battlegrounds as the boys try to outmaneuver trained gunmen from inside their own academy.
