After leaving the criminal brotherhood known as the Eight-Hundred Dragons, a former member hides out in Manchuria, where the clan’s rule is simple: no one gets out alive. When he is tracked down, a young man named Yao is abducted with him, stripped of his memory, and trained into a martial-arts assassin for the organization. Samuel Hui leads the film alongside Maggie Cheung as Yao’s missions begin to unravel when he encounters the woman he once loved and pieces of his past start breaking through.
