L-O-V-E.

ComedyDramaRomance93 min

Love connects four separate stories in this Taiwanese anthology, with each segment coming from a different first-time director and following a different relationship at a different turning point. Van Fan and Megan Lai are among the large ensemble, as the film moves from one pairing to the next, shifting tone and perspective while staying focused on romance, miscommunication, and the small choices that pull people together or push them apart. Rather than building around a single plotline, L-O-V-E. works as a collection of intersecting portraits, using multiple casts and settings to sketch out several versions of modern love.
