A young man drawn to Army life leaves home to train as a cadet, carrying with him a romance that ties his future to the life he might have lived outside uniform. As Vikram Batra rises through the ranks, the film follows his path from training grounds to the front lines of the 1999 Kargil War, where steep mountain battles and urgent missions test his resolve. The conflict narrows from ambition to duty as he leads men into increasingly dangerous operations under fire. Sidharth Malhotra stars as Vikram and his twin brother Vishal, while Kiara Advani appears as Dimple Cheema, the woman waiting as war pulls his life toward its defining battle.
