The story

Alex, an ex-con working muscle in a Vienna brothel, is trying to get out with Tamara, the woman he loves. Johannes Krisch is Alex, watchful and tightly wound; Irina Potapenko’s Tamara shares his plan for escape. When a robbery goes wrong, their lives become entangled with a country policeman (Andreas Lust) and his strained marriage, shifting the story from Vienna’s underworld to the quiet Austrian countryside. What begins as a desperate bid for freedom turns into a collision of guilt, grief, and revenge, with the fallout unfolding in small gestures as much as violent acts.
