Tsurube Shofukutei is Osamu Ino, a beloved physician serving a rural Japanese village, where his calm authority and apparent devotion make him the center of local trust. When reluctant medical intern Keisuke Soma arrives, Eita Nagayama gives him the wary, observant perspective of someone slowly won over by Ino’s reputation. That confidence begins to crack when a shameful incident from the doctor’s past comes to light, forcing Soma and the villagers to reconsider the man they depend on. The story stays close to the uneasy gap between public respect and private history.
