Blue Eye Samurai
ActionAdventureAnimationAnimeDramaThriller48 min per episode
In Edo-period Japan, a mixed-race swordmaster moves through the country in disguise, hunting the men tied to her birth and the life of exile that followed. Mizu keeps her blue eyes hidden and her purpose narrower still: find the foreigners who remained in Japan and make them pay. Each stop on that path brings new enemies, from hired killers and corrupt power brokers to people who begin to see through her cover. As the search tightens, her revenge draws in a princess resisting an arranged future, a disgraced samurai, and a taunting weapons dealer voiced by Kenneth Branagh. The pursuit keeps widening, even as Mizu tries to keep it personal.
