In the violent sprawl of Night City, a smart teenager loses the ordinary life he was aiming for and gets pulled into the city’s black-market underworld. Surrounded by gangs, corporate power, and body modifications that turn people into weapons, David starts using dangerous cybernetic upgrades to survive and get ahead. That choice brings him into the orbit of Lucy and a crew of mercenaries known as edgerunners, who take high-risk jobs stealing data, hitting targets, and outrunning forces much bigger than they are. As David pushes his body further, the city’s promise of power and freedom starts demanding a price.
