Back in Brussels after five years away, Antoine arrives at the door of the woman he loved and left just as she’s rushing out on an important business trip. When the babysitter never shows, she has no choice but to leave their precocious five-year-old, Elsa, with the estranged father she barely knows for a long weekend. Thomas Blanchard and Isabelle Barth lead a close domestic story built around that abrupt handoff, as Antoine is pushed into the routines of caring for a child while old resentment and unfinished history linger in the apartment.
