Cinema, Aspirins and Vultures
ActionAdventureDrama99 min
On the roads of Northeastern Brazil in 1942, a German aspirin salesman trying to avoid the draft crosses paths with a rural Brazilian laborer looking to outrun the drought. Led by Peter Ketnath and João Miguel, the film follows the partnership that forms as the two men move through an arid interior shaped by wartime uncertainty and scarcity. Their journey is built around long stretches of road, improvised work, and the friction between two strangers whose reasons for leaving home are very different.
