The Son's Room
DramaFamily99 min
Nanni Moretti is a psychoanalyst in Ancona whose family is upended when his son dies in a scuba-diving accident. With Laura Morante and Jasmine Trinca as the other members of the household, the film follows the immediate aftermath of that loss in ordinary spaces — at home, at work, and in the son’s empty room. Psychoanalysis, religion, and the small routines of daily life all take on a different shape as grief settles over the family.
