Bryce Dallas Howard is Kat, an improv comedy teacher starting to wonder whether she missed her chance at something bigger. When an undercover cop (Sean Bean) offers her a chance to help the police, she recruits two of her students to pose as dangerous criminals and enter London’s gangland. Their only edge is what they know from the stage: how to commit to a role, think on their feet, and keep a scene going when the pressure shifts. The setup mixes rehearsal-room nerves with a criminal world that expects the act to be convincing.
