The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
ActionAdventureDramaFamily91 min
Huckleberry Finn is a rebellious boy who flees his selfish, scheming father and the strict rules of “civilized” life, setting off down the Mississippi on a raft with Jim (Rex Ingram), an enslaved man escaping slavery. Mickey Rooney is Huck, all mischief and defiance as the two slip from town to town and into a run of narrow escapes. Their trip brings them to Jackson Island, back into town in disguise, and into the company of two wandering con men — Walter Connolly’s King and William Frawley’s Duke — who turn the river journey into something even more uncertain.
