Amar Akbar Anthony
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaMusical184 min
Separated as children, three brothers are raised in Hindu, Muslim, and Christian households, then cross paths years later without knowing who they are to one another. Vinod Khanna is Amar, now a police officer; Rishi Kapoor’s Akbar has grown into a qawwali singer, and Amitabh Bachchan’s Anthony runs a bar with his usual bravado. Around them, romance, crime, mistaken identities, and musical set pieces keep piling up as the brothers move toward a reunion — and toward the people responsible for splitting their family apart.
