Mighty Joe Young
ActionAdventureFamilyFantasyThriller114 min
After seeing her mother killed by poachers in Central Africa, Charlize Theron’s Jill Young grows up caring for Joe, an orphaned gorilla whose unusual genetics have left him 15 feet tall. California zoologist Gregg O’Hara (Bill Paxton) believes Joe will be safer at a wildlife refuge in the United States and convinces Jill to bring him there. But Joe’s size and sudden visibility make him a target, especially for Andrei Strasser, the hunter from Jill’s childhood who wants to capture the animal for himself.
