Planet of the Apes
ActionAdventureSci-FiThriller120 min
Astronaut Leo Davidson is thrown off course when a crash-landing strands him on a planet where apes rule and humans are hunted, caged, and sold. Mark Wahlberg is Leo, racing to find a way home while avoiding General Thade (Tim Roth), the hardline military leader determined to keep humans in chains. Tim Burton’s remake leans into elaborate prosthetic makeup, battlefield clashes, and a rigid ape society, with Helena Bonham Carter’s Ari emerging as one of the few voices to question the order around her.
