Manny, Sid, and Diego are back just as the deep freeze gives way to a fast melt, turning their icy valley into a flood risk. Ray Romano is Manny, the woolly mammoth trying to get everyone moving, with John Leguizamo’s nonstop sloth Sid and Denis Leary’s saber-toothed Diego along for the scramble. As the trio races to warn the other animals before the water reaches them, Manny also runs into Ellie (Queen Latifah), a fellow mammoth who complicates the trip. The sequel keeps the prehistoric setting, herd banter, and slapstick momentum while raising the stakes from icy survival to full-on escape.
