Dangerous Minds
Drama99 min
Michelle Pfeiffer is Louanne Johnson, a former Marine hired to teach a pilot class of bright but underachieving teens at a tough California high school. After a disastrous first day, she drops the usual classroom decorum and comes back with military discipline, karate moves, and a no-nonsense approach aimed at students who don’t trust school or the adults running it. As Louanne pushes for connection and respect, the film follows the daily clashes between her methods, the school’s bureaucracy, and the pressures her students carry outside the classroom.
