Solaris

ActionAdventureDramaMysterySci-Fi167 min

Psychologist Kris Kelvin is sent to a space station orbiting the planet Solaris after a doctor’s death and disturbing reports about the crew’s mental state. Donatas Banionis is Kelvin, arriving to find a mission in collapse and a planet whose vast ocean seems to function like a mind, drawing out repressed memories and obsessions. Inside the station’s cramped, worn corridors, grief, desire, and hallucination become hard to separate. With Natalya Bondarchuk woven into Kelvin’s most personal encounters, the film shifts from a space investigation toward questions of memory, conscience, and what remains unresolved in the human mind.
