In an abandoned prison, a doctor revives executed convicts as the living dead, unleashing a zombie threat behind locked gates. Teenager Jonathan answers with an improvised laser gun built from a videodisc player, heading after the undead with help from his girlfriend and grandfather as a tabloid reporter hunts the same story and a SWAT team moves in. Scott Schwartz is part of the film’s central scramble, with Robert Deveau also in the mix as the prison experiment spills outward into a siege.
