The Spectacular Now
ComedyDramaRomance95 min
Sutter Keely is a high school senior who coasts on charm, parties hard, and keeps the future at arm’s length until a night of drinking leaves him waking up on a stranger’s lawn beside Aimee Finecky. Miles Teller’s Sutter lives for the immediate moment; Shailene Woodley makes Aimee thoughtful, awkward, and quietly determined as an unlikely romance takes shape between them. As graduation nears, her plans beyond school clash with his habit of dodging consequences, and the easy confidence he wears starts to look more fragile.
