Andaz Apna Apna
ActionAdventureAnimeComedyDramaFamilyRomance160 min
Two slackers compete for the affection of a wealthy heiress, then find themselves acting as her protectors when a criminal starts closing in. Aamir Khan is Amar, with Salman Khan’s Prem as his equally opportunistic rival; their constant one-upmanship drives the film’s mix of misunderstandings, impersonation, and slapstick. Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor sit at the center of the confusion as an heiress and a secretary whose switched identities complicate everybody’s plans. Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1994 Hindi comedy keeps its focus on schemes, romantic rivalry, and the chaos that follows when both men think they’re gaming the same fortune.
