Twenty-two years after losing his home, Arulmozhi Varman returns to his native Thanjavur for a cousin’s wedding, only to find the visit pulling him back toward a past he has kept at a distance. Arul (Arvind Swamy) is soon drawn into the company of an upbeat man he cannot place, and Karthi is that unexpected presence at the center of the reunion. As wedding festivities carry on around them, their conversations and encounters reopen memories of family, displacement, and home, turning a brief return into a reckoning with what time has changed and what it hasn’t.
