A cash-strapped bank cashier turns to a risky investment scheme to stay ahead of debt, only to find himself pulled into money laundering and financial scams far bigger than he expected. Dulquer Salmaan is Baskhar, a lower-middle-class man trying to support his family while absorbing the daily humiliations that come with being broke. As his shortcuts start to widen into something more dangerous, the film follows the pressure building around every choice he makes. Meenaakshi Chaudhary and Tinnu Anand are part of the circle around Baskhar as his private struggle spills into a world of illicit money, status, and survival.
