Honest Candidate
Comedy104 min
Sang-sook, a polished politician whose career depends on careful promises and public charm, comes home from a visit to her isolated grandmother unable to tell a lie. Ra Mi-ran is Sang-sook, suddenly forced into blunt honesty just as cameras, aides, and voters keep pressing for answers. Her grandmother (Na Moon-hee) is at the center of the strange turn, which sends an otherwise controlled campaign into chaos. Every speech, press appearance, and private conversation becomes a problem when a seasoned public figure can no longer soften the truth.
