Eight-year-old Peter starts hearing a steady tapping from inside his bedroom wall, and the more his parents insist it’s only his imagination, the less he trusts what they’re telling him. Woody Norman is the boy at the center of the story, while Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr are his guarded, overprotective parents, whose strict rules leave Peter increasingly isolated inside their home. As the tapping grows more constant and Peter’s nightmares intensify around Halloween, he begins to suspect that the sound is connected to a dangerous secret his parents have been keeping.
