Totally Killer

ComedyHorrorSci-Fi106 min

When the Sweet Sixteen Killer resurfaces on Halloween, 17-year-old Jamie is thrown back to 1987, the year the murders began. Kiernan Shipka is Jamie, a present-day teenager suddenly stuck amid teased hair, high school cliques, and a masked slasher’s first spree. In the past, her best shot at changing anything is her own mother as a teenager (Olivia Holt), long before the caution and rules of the present took hold. As Jamie tries to stop the killings, the movie folds time-travel chaos into a whodunit, with mother-daughter friction turned inside out by the fact that they’re now the same age.
