Human Traffic

ComedyDrama99 min

For Jip, Lulu, Koop, Nina and Moff, the week is something to endure: dead-end jobs, cramped routines, and the long wait for Friday night. Then the five friends dive into late-1990s British club culture, chasing music, drugs, sex and enough momentum to carry them through to Monday morning. John Simm and Lorraine Pilkington are part of the central crew, with Shaun Parkes, Nicola Reynolds and Danny Dyer filling out the circle as the film shifts between workday frustration and weekend release. Human Traffic follows the highs, comedowns and messy conversations of a nightlife built around pubs, clubs and after-hours drift.
