Sicario: Day of the Soldado
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThrillerWar123 min
After a terrorist attack is tied to border crossings, federal agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) is given room to escalate the drug war by any means necessary. He brings in Benicio Del Toro’s Alejandro Gillick, the taciturn operative from the shadows, for a covert plan to pit Mexico’s cartels against one another by abducting a kingpin’s daughter. As the mission moves through safe houses, border checkpoints, and sudden bursts of violence, the film tracks a campaign built on deniable orders, shifting loyalties, and collateral damage.
