A privileged Philadelphia commodities broker loses everything while Eddie Murphy’s street hustler is handed his salary, townhouse, and place on the trading floor, all because two wealthy brothers decide to test a wager about nature and nurture. Dan Aykroyd is the polished executive suddenly cast out of his elite circle and into a setup he can’t explain. As the switch unfolds over Christmas and New Year’s, the film moves between old-money mansions, busy street corners, and the chaos of the commodities market, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Denholm Elliott caught up in the fallout around both men.
