The Nice Guys
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeMysteryThriller116 min
A fading porn star’s apparent suicide pulls private eye Holland March and enforcer Jackson Healy into the same case in 1970s Los Angeles, where a missing girl points toward a wider conspiracy. Ryan Gosling is March, an alcoholic detective barely holding it together; Russell Crowe’s Healy is the hired muscle forced into an uneasy partnership with him. Their search moves through the city’s adult-film scene and industry parties as the trail climbs from low-rent hustles toward people with money and influence.
