Take the Lead
ComedyDrama108 min
After crossing paths with a troubled New York City high school, former ballroom pro Pierre Dulaine volunteers to teach dance to students who'd rather be anywhere else. Antonio Banderas is Dulaine, bringing formal waltz steps into a classroom full of skepticism, while Alfre Woodard and Rob Brown are part of the school community testing his methods from different sides. Inspired by a true story, the film follows the clash between polished ballroom tradition and the students’ own music and movement as the class starts building something neither side expected.
