Blink

Documentary84 min

After three of their four children are diagnosed with an incurable eye condition, Canadian parents Édith Lemay and Sébastien Pelletier set out to show them as much of the world as they can while their vision remains. Blink follows the Pelletiers as Mia, Léo, Colin, and Laurent travel from one destination to the next, with the trip shaped by the knowledge that what they see now may become memory later. Alongside the movement and logistics of a family on the road, the film stays focused on the parents’ effort to give their children a vivid sense of the world around them.
