CNN camerawoman Margaret Moth heads into war zones with her lens pointed where others are taking cover. Drawing on frontline footage and interviews with family, friends, and colleagues, the film follows the New Zealand-born journalist through conflicts including the Gulf War and Bosnia, and through the on-air persona that made her a singular figure in television news. After catastrophic injuries in the field, Moth returns to work, pushing the story beyond public legend and into the costs of that drive. Christiane Amanpour is among the voices sketching a colleague whose appetite for danger shaped both her career and her private life.
