Mercury Rising

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller111 min

Renegade FBI agent Art Jeffries is pulled into a deadly government cover-up when a nine-year-old autistic boy deciphers a supposedly unbreakable code. Bruce Willis is Jeffries, a worn-down investigator who takes the child under his protection as federal assassins close in and the threat leads back to Washington. Alec Baldwin’s Nick Kudrow runs the encryption program now treating the boy as a security problem instead of a witness. As Jeffries moves outside official channels, the film turns on the uneasy bond between a hard-bitten agent and a child whose gift has made him a target.
