Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx
ActionAdventureDrama82 min
Wandering assassin Ogami Itto travels the road with his young son, Daigoro, taking paid killings as the Yagyu clan closes in around them. Tomisaburo Wakayama is Itto, hired here to stop a traitor before clan secrets reach the shogunate, while a squad of female ninja turns the job into a running battle. The story keeps circling back to the strange calm of the father-and-child pair, even as ambushes, sword fights, and sudden bursts of bloodshed erupt around their baby cart.
