Flawless

ComedyCrimeDrama112 min

After a stroke leaves him struggling to speak, Robert De Niro’s ultraconservative police officer is assigned to an unusual rehabilitation program: singing lessons with the drag queen next door. Philip Seymour Hoffman is the neighbor pulled into the job, and the sessions quickly become a clash of habits, prejudices, and wounded pride. As the two men are forced into close contact, the film stays with the daily work of recovery — voice exercises, physical limitations, and the humiliation of dependence — while their hostility gives way to a reluctant, uneasy connection.
