The Muppets
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyMusical103 min
Walter, a devoted Muppet fan, heads to Los Angeles with his brother Gary and Gary’s girlfriend Mary, then discovers a plan to demolish the Muppet Theater for oil money. Jason Segel is Gary, with Amy Adams alongside him as Mary, joining Walter as he turns to Kermit for help. To raise the cash and stop Tex Richman from taking the property, Kermit has to round up a long-scattered Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, and the rest of the gang for a last-minute telethon. The movie mixes backstage scramble, self-aware Muppet humor, and big musical numbers with a parade of celebrity cameos.
