Jerry Shaw and Rachel Holloman are strangers yanked into the same nightmare when an unseen woman starts calling with orders, using cameras, cell phones, and other everyday technology to track their every move. Shia LaBeouf is Jerry, abruptly marked as a suspect, while Michelle Monaghan's Rachel is forced into compliance under threats to her family. As the calls push them from one dangerous situation to the next, the two become the country's most-wanted fugitives and try to figure out who is controlling them. Billy Bob Thornton circles the case as an FBI agent chasing answers of his own.
