Barber Adnan is the neighborhood gossip, a man who knows every customer’s business and turns it into stories for the audience. When he learns he may be fired, he clings to his place at the shop while the film spins outward into the lives he’s been watching: Aykut chasing internet fame through his daughter’s social media accounts, Merve leaving city life behind for the village, and Meriç stumbling through one mishap after another during a trip to ask for a girl’s hand in marriage. Zafer Algöz and Onur Buldu are among the ensemble in a comedy built around everyday chaos, village customs, and the small scandals of Turkish neighborhood life.
