On the road and behind the wheel, a Turkish taxi driver turns every fare into another tale from his life, each one sounding less likely than the last. As he talks, the film moves through the episodes he describes, blurring the line between everyday trouble and the kind of bad luck no one would believe twice. Small errands, chance encounters, and attempts to get by keep spiraling into mishaps that leave him explaining himself all over again. The stories pile up into a portrait of a man who can’t stop talking and can’t seem to avoid chaos, even when all he is trying to do is make a living.
