Behind Nazi lines in wartime Italy, a squad of American soldiers led by The Sarge stumbles across a crashed UFO in the woods. The pilot is dead, one alien passenger is missing, and the GIs break into smaller groups to hunt it down while German forces close in around them. What starts as a survival mission turns into a three-way chase across the countryside as more extraterrestrials arrive to retrieve their stranded party. Tim Thomerson is among the soldiers caught in the middle, with Timothy Van Patten part of the embattled unit as the film folds a World War II combat story into creature-feature sci-fi.
